New, Affordable, Injection-Molded Nursery Containers
Portland, OR January 3, 2011 – For 2011, Anderson Pots is featuring more affordable black recycled Anderson Polycans in its advertising in Digger and B&B magazines. Made with recycled plastic, the Anderson Black Pots are now available in #1 Deep, #2 Deep, #5 Tub, #5 Short, #7 Deep and the new #20 Polycan sizes with more sizes to come during the year. Shipments of the new Black containers to Northwest growers begin in January 2011. Anderson’s traditional injection-molded Green Polycans remain available as the industry’s top quality containers for growers where container quality is their primary decision factor.. The new black polycans offer a competitively priced alternative with Anderson quality to off-shore containers some growers have been trying to reduce costs. Anderson’s new magazine advertising emphasizes that growers can “ lower their carbon footprint” by buying locally rather than bringing in containers from long distances with large fossil fuel expenditures necessary in shipping. |
